Successful HPE Aruba Networking event in Nairobi, Kenya

The event - 'AI-powered networking that puts security first' - welcomed attendees from across the region

The Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium team were thrilled with the success of their HPE Aruba Networking Event hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nairobi on April 10. The event brought together a dynamic mix of industry leaders, technology partners and valued customers, for a day of insightful dialogue, cutting-edge demonstrations and meaningful collaboration.

From live demos showcasing the power of HPE Aruba’s intelligent network solutions, to interactive discussions around cloud-managed networking, security and digital transformation, the energy and enthusiasm in the room were undeniable.

The event attracted Aruba Networking experts from across the region and internationally. 120+ people were present for the event, which began with an early morning breakfast session, followed by a mid-morning session and then lunch.

The day began with a welcome address by George Odula, Country Manager, Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium. Next up was a Technical Keynote: “Security First AI-powered Networking” presented by Karthikeyan Gunasekar, Business Development Lead, Aruba Edge Services Platform, EMEA.

Customers presentations followed, then a roundtable discussion which explored issues and opportunities around Network Flexibility. Milind Chavan, Sales Manager, Africa, followed that with his presentation “Winning together with HPE Aruba Networking.” The morning continued with more insights on Network Flexibility from Karthikeyan Gunasekar and then a live demo of Network Operations by Karthikeyan joined by Joseph Njogu, Presales Architect, Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium.

The final presentation before the event closed with lunch was “Technical Excellence: Best Practices for Seamless Deployments” from Darius Dordi, Regional Presales Manager, Gulf IT Network Distribution FZ LLC.
