A new K-tuin Apple Premium Reseller (APR) store has opened at Barakaldo near Bilbao in Spain, with as many as 400 Apple fans enjoying special offers on Apple devices at the opening event on September 2.

The new store is in a modern mall at Barrio Kaleaga s/n, Barakaldo (Bizcaia) Spain. The Apple Premium Reseller store has a team of six with all the excellent K-tuin facilities such as technical service, trade-In, financing, insurance and the best Apple advice, all situated in a COVID-safe space of 200m2.

“The opening of K-tuin Barakaldo was a challenge because we had to be ready to open just after the holidays and before the new iPhone launching. The marketing campaign was a success, especially considering that we are still in the COVID era and we had to take distancing measures and strict protocols to take care of people and the image of our brand,” said Juan Fernandez of K-tuin.

K-tuin has been busy building the network, with uplifting of existing sites and launching of new stores taking place, notably in Logroño and Vigo, both moving to larger premises. After the Barakaldo opening a new site will be premiered in October in Seville and one in Madrid.

Summer 2021 has been a time of network expansion and organizational growth for K-tuin – in June this year the company signed an agreement to take over the Microgestio and Goldenmac store groups. When that deal was agreed, the business combined represented approximately 50% of the Apple Premium Resellers (APR) market in Spain, doubling the size of the business since the Midis Group acquired K-tuin.
