Held in Diani, Kenya, from May 26 to 29, 2025, the summit aimed to ‘Create business opportunities for growth’ by bringing together local and regional innovators and businesses. The Summit featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, notably including the Honourable William Kabogo, Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Communications, and Digital Economy, and attracted a diverse international audience of delegates, ambassadors, and sponsors.

Throughout the summit, Midis Group experts contributed to critical discussions. On day one, Shehzaad Noormahomed (Regional Sales Director, Citrix) delivered a keynote on “Smart Teams – Building the Augmented Workforce”, followed by a panel featuring Eric McGee (Technical Sales Engineer, Ivanti).
On day two, Jorge Colotto (CEO, AIdeology) presented “Reimagining the Public Sector Through AI & Digital Infrastructure”. At the same time, concurrently, Ravi Baldev Singh, Senior Director, Sales Engineering – Emerging Markets at Commvault, delivered a keynote on “The Infrastructure of Trust: AI, Data & Digital Governance.”
Panel discussions included “Controlling Data: Africa’s Path to Digital Independence” featuring Mohammed Arafa (System Engineer, BlackBerry) and Francis Kiambati (Head of Technology Sales and Services, CEA, Cohesity).
The Cybersecurity session “Cybersecurity By Design: Embedding Trust into Digital Infrastructure” featured keynotes with Andries Lategan (Technology Officer, MBCOM Technologies) and panel participation on “AI On Both Sides: Fighting Cybercrime With AI Agents” with Eric McGee (Ivanti) and Samer Hani (Managing Director META, EE & GR, Matrix42). Additionally, Saleh Al-Nemer (UKIMEA O-CTO & Vertical Solutions, HPE) presented on “Africa’s Leap: IoT Driven Infrastructure for A Connected Continent.”
