MDS CS and business subsidiary MHP have had a solid partnership for more than six years with OpenText

MDS for Computer Systems (MHP) was announced as winner of the award for Cybersecurity Partner of the Year 2023 at the OpenText Saudi Arabia Summit on January 29 in Jeddah.

The 2024 Summit was held in the Riyadh Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Hotel. Present to accept the award for MDS CS (MHP) were Omran AlJundi, MHP General Manager; Samer Al Sosali, MHP Business Development and Solutions Manager; Ayman AlShaer, MHP Sales Manager – Central Region and Hasan Saleh, MHP Account Manager.

Writing on LinkedIn, Samer Al Sosali, MHP Business Development and Solutions Manager, celebrated the win in this way: “MDS is announced as Cybersecurity Partner of the Year 2023 with OpenText, in Saudi Arabia! Thanks to the amazing team from OpenText for their extended support – we are excited for FY2024 to achieve more together.”

MDS CS and its business subsidiary, MHP, have partnered with OpenText (previously known as Micro Focus), for at least six years. In collaboration with OpenText, MDS CS (MHP) has been offering hybrid IT and cybersecurity services and solutions to several FSI and oil and gas industry clients.

The Awards Ceremony followed the day long OpenText Summit which featured a rich mix of keynotes, panel sessions, breakout sessions and the exhibition area, which featured cutting-edge IT solutions by OpenText and MDS CS esteemed partners, including SBM, Nahil Computers, Google Cloud, Aptec Saudi Arabia (an Ingram Micro Company), Technoval, Mannai Trading & Clear Vision, MGS, ZINAD IT, PTG, Redington, and Nabda.

Among the keynotes were presentations from Harald Adams, VP of Sales Emerging Markets at OpenText, who spoke about AI and the Future of Information Management and Karim Rizkallah, Regional VP, Solution Consulting Emerging Markets (OpenText) presenting about OpenText and the AI Revolution.
