MDS awarded EcoVadis Bronze Medal for sustainability performance
The recognition places Mideast Data Systems (MDS) in the top 35% of companies assessed globally by the world's most trusted business sustainability rating platform
Mideast Data Systems (MDS) LLC has been officially awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, recognizing its strong sustainability performance and unyielding commitment to responsible business practices.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted and widely recognized providers of business sustainability ratings. Its comprehensive framework evaluates organizations across four core pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment is based on internationally recognized sustainability standards and evaluates the effectiveness of a company’s policies, actions, and reporting practices.
MDS achieved an overall score of 69/100 and ranked in the 77th percentile globally, outperforming 77% of companies assessed by EcoVadis – a truly impressive performance and a great tribute to the work of the MDS Sustainability Team.
The achievement, announced on June 5, reflects the significant progress made in strengthening sustainability management systems, enhancing governance practices, improving transparency, and embedding ESG principles across the organization.
Commenting on the achievement, Khaled H. The MDS Sustainability team has had a successful year. In March, they stood out at the Eco Industrial Expo Forum and Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s first specialised industrial exhibition focused on environmental sustainability and clean industry solutions.
