Information and Communications Technology has become the first Microsoft Azure Windows Virtual Desktop advanced specialist in Qatar, following an in-depth Microsoft audit.

Windows Virtual Desktop enables a secure, remote desktop experience from anywhere. Since the growth of remote working over the last 12 months, such technology has become increasingly important in the Enterprise sector.

According to Tarek Hadla from ICT, the team was well prepared and had readily available documentary evidence with appropriate deliberations and demonstrations. ICT accepted some development points, and demonstrated a keen interest in continual improvement. The team showed excellent technical competency and passed the audit successfully.

In addition, the following organizational strengths were noted during the audit:

  • ICT has a technically competent team in MS WVD and is able to provide optimized solutions that meet customer requirements
  • ICT has an excellent project implementation document used systematically across different customers

More about MS WVD

Microsoft Partners who demonstrate deep knowledge, extensive experience, and proven success in deploying, optimizing, and securing virtual desktop infrastructure on Azure with Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) may seek the Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop advanced specialization.

The Windows Virtual Desktop advanced specialization allows partners with an active Gold Cloud Platform Competency to further differentiate their organizations, demonstrate their capabilities, and build stronger connections with customers.
