The Alpine Ski World Cup races in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, are the season highlight of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup for both men and women. The Vitranc Cup for male skiers took place between March 1 and 2, 2025 with the women’s event earlier in January. At both of the events, technology was at the heart of the media facilities centered on HPE Aruba Networking solutions provided by ORG. TEND d.o.o and Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium.

Bringing this long-standing competition to a wide audience is essential, making strong media coverage a key factor in the event’s success. ORG. TEND d.o.o. played a crucial role by equipping the press room with the necessary technology, allowing media representatives to follow the prestigious downhill race in real time and maintain fast, reliable connection with the world.

In the media center a 10G switch Aruba 2930M ensured a reliable wired connection and power supply to the access points while wireless connectivity was ensured by powerful Wi-Fi 6E Aruba AP-635 and Aruba AP-505H Wi-Fi 6 access points.

“For more than 20 consecutive years, we have ensured excellent IT conditions for all journalists and, of course, the up-to-date information on the website for all those who did not watch the downhill events live at the location. In providing a fast, secure and reliable wireless network, we used HPE Aruba Networking technology provided by Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium” explained ORG. TEND company director Aleš Polajnko.
