Commvault SHIFT Nairobi explores a new era of cyber resilience
"A new approach is needed. One that consolidates, streamlines, and gives CISOs and IT the upper hand."
Commvault Systems, the American cyber resilience and data protection software company, is running SHIFT, a global cyber resilience roadshow in 40 key business locations across the world. A recent edition of the roadshow took place in Nairobi on September 12 at the J.W. Marriott hotel with 430 confirmed attendees. The event, the first SHIFT event in central eastern Africa, was preceded by a grand VIP dinner on the evening of September 11.
According to Commvault, across many business sectors, we’ve reached an inflection point where the confluence of data, apps, and devices meets hybrid architectures and a new breed of threats, like ransomware, is now fuelled by the rise of ML and Generative AI. What’s needed, they say, is for businesses to SHIFT into a new era of cyber resilience.

According to the Commvault event information about SHIFT, “A new approach is needed. One that consolidates, streamlines, and gives CISOs and IT the upper hand. Fighting AI with AI. Delivering true native cloud data security. And the one way to truly defeat ransomware once and for all.”

- Shift from just data recovery to true cyber resilience
