Midis Group Oxygen Day – bringing our people together
A day of collaboration and creativity
Midis Group recently hosted Oxygen Day, a full-day team-building event in the mountains of Faraya, Lebanon. The gathering brought together 175 employees from the Beirut headquarters and offices across the world — including colleagues from Hungary, Spain, Poland, Dubai, Qatar, KSA and more…
The day began with a welcome breakfast, setting the tone for a dynamic program of team-building games. At the heart of the event was “The Midis Chariot Parade”, a challenge where 14 teams designed and built Roman and Olympic-inspired chariots from simple materials such as cardboard, sticks, tape, and fabric.
This activity encouraged creative thinking, communication, delegation, planning, and execution — all while reflecting the values of the Midis Group. Each team also pitched their creation to a judging panel, showcasing how their teamwork embodied the spirit of Midis.
Sustainability in action
Following the challenge, participants joined a reforestation initiative, planting 200 trees to help restore the local landscape. Sustainability was a priority throughout the day: reusable water bottles were distributed to reduce plastic waste.
Shared moments and lasting impact
Sunset, dinner, and an evening celebration at the beautiful Montagnou restaurant — with sweeping views of Lebanon’s mountains and coastline — gave colleagues time to relax, reconnect, and strengthen bonds.
Oxygen Day was all about taking a moment to pause, connect, and strengthen our sense of belonging within the Midis family. At the same time, the event offered teams an opportunity to live the Group’s core values of integrity, expertise, and entrepreneurial spirit, while working together toward shared goals — including our commitment to healing the environment.
By the end of the day, participants agreed: Oxygen Day was not only a valuable learning experience but also a joyful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together as one team.
